Casablanca. When I was, I dreamed of being a director...

If I were a cinema director perhaps I would not make films with a deep meaning which no body would like to watch, I would make films with intrigue and humour.

When I had sixteen years I was remaining in the dawn seeing classic movies in Garci's program because I wanted to be a cinema director and I used to watch many classical movies and I paid a lot of attention to scenes and dialogues. I was slow to realise that this cinema for specialists did not have enough sense of humour to be liked by the spectators of nowadays.

This type of films establecished the parameters  of Hollywood modern cinema. For instance, the usage of short sentences and with ellipsis. The style is not literary whatsoever.

The gestures and postures were very well interpreted, such as the way of walking or the way of take a glass, were very well studied but not exagerated as in the silent movies.

In this kind of films many techniques arise that are later used in literature: the flashback or for example such techniques as visual metaphors.  At the same this film owes to much to the silent movies and the modern theatre Ibsen and Bertold Brecht apart from the fact that there is a new conception of music which reflects the frame of mind of the character.

The soundtrack was made by Doodey Wilson and contained many popular songs.
